(First) CHANCE ME...

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to this website as I've been reading other threads on this website, but finally pushed myself to create an account.

I just completed my first semester of junior year, but I'm completely stressed out about SAT's and college applications! I don't know if this is too early, but I will post my stats and hopefully some of you will manage to calm me down a little bit.

RD: Syracuse, NYU, USC, UC Berkeley, UChicago

GPA:
-UW: 3.498
-W: 3.623
(Hopefully by the end of my junior year, I will have an UW GPA of 3.7492 and a W GPA of 3.949.)
-Will have taken 4 AP's by the end of junior year.
-Will take 6 AP's senior year for a total of 10 in high school.

Don't know my SAT/ACT scores and I don't want to "count my chickens before they hatch" either.

Sorry for the overwhelming information. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Syracuse is really your only match. The others are all reaches, and while you stand a chance of getting in, your GPA is pretty low and may be detrimental.

thank you poulsonl. Do you think my SAT scores will help me if I get above a 2000?

If you work really hard to get your UW GPA up and get a 2000+ on your SAT, I’d say you’d have a better shot ;)! You’re ECs are pretty good too, so that’ll help. The only concerning thing is the GPA, but I think you can bring that up! Good Luck :)

Thank you for your encouragement, FinalWorld. I am expecting a higher GPA for the spring semester and high SAT scores as I’ve been studying/practicing so much.
