So I'm going to write my first choice letter but I don't know who to address it to.
Do I send it to my interviewer? The Head of Admissions? The Admission's Office?

At the application stage of the game, I doubt sending such a letter is going to make any difference. Even the most selective schools assume 1/4 to 1/3 of the kids they admit will turn down their offer of admission and matriculate elsewhere. Some posters think a First Choice letter may help if you are Wait Listed.

Here is an old thread on the topic.

And here’s a post from GemmaV, an AO who occasionally posts on CC:

What do you write on a first choice letter? ( sorry if its a stupid question)

Its the very first time I’m on the admissions process… Do you think It actually makes a difference?

Why would they believe you any more than if you said the same thing in the interview?

Luckily only my first choice school actually asked me which was my first choice, but if another had asked I would probably just say I didn’t know. Not mnay people would lower their chances by saying otherwise.
