MIT
UVA

Thanks so much in advance! I have no clue how I'm going to hold out until late March/early April!!!

well especially with the AP’s and activities and class rank, this looks like an amazing applicant

i think you have fabulous chances at all of them, but at the same time i’m just a lone HS senior with a chances thread of my own haha, maybe you could look over mine too?

I agree with sneva831. You look like an amazing applicant and I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in everywhere. Good luck! I hope you get into Princeton!

Chance back?:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/838563-30-act-what-my-chances-2.html

Best of luck your stats are amazing and hopefully your personality shines also.

You are a solid applicant: good chances for all.

I think you’re an amazing applicant, and that it’s highly possible you’ll end up at one of those reach schools you listed. But the applicant pool for those schools is so extremely competitive and I know people who have applied and have absolutely amazing awards and accomplishments, so I don’t know… well, good luck!!

Thanks for replying everyone! (My anxiety level is creeping up by the day :P)
Also, I’ve interviewed with MIT, Yale, Harvard, and UPenn. They’ve all gone really well, although through my interview I realized that I don’t want to go to MIT.

There’s no point asking for chances on ivies/ivy caliber schools. your app is just as good as the next. all reaches.

i’m not saying your stats are bad or anything, it’s just it doesn’t really matter if you’re a 4.0UW/2400 SAT student/two sport varsity captain and starter for all four years. sometimes even that doesn’t cut it. with that said, you still have a good chance. you’re going to get into one of them, but with ivy caliber schools, you never know which one will accept you.

LOL with your stats why do you even bother getting chanced here…
sometimes I think ppl just want some morale boost or showin off
u know u have a good chance and how unpredictable ivys in. so there u go

Wow, I’m sorry someone is bitter. I hope everyone is giving you the benefit of the doubt in thinking that you’re just having a horrible day.

yea i’m pretty sure you have a guarantee at any of those

no one has a guarantee at ivies

You are very solid! but chance threads for ivies/top schools are pointless. I know people like you who got denied at all the top 8 schools and then some who got accepted at all of them with the same stats. Its a crapshoot so lets just hope you are lucky!

I just want to reinforce that all the ivies are reaches at best. You are a fine applicant and definitely have a shot, but don’t be set on getting accepted (or rejected). I think you and I both know your academics are stellar, but the ivies don’t just look at academics. Your essays are going to play a major role in defining your passions and interests.
