<p>Definitely. I would just call the admissions office, ask a question, and figure out a way to tie in your love for the school. I did it with my admissions officer from Wesleyan, and wound up getting an early write. :)</p>
<p>Then again, if you’re waiting for a decision to come out within the next couple of weeks, it might be too late…hopefully not, though!</p>
<p>It may matter for the schools like Wash U that are trying to increase their yield and therefore favor students likely to accept their acceptance offers. It doesn’t work for places like Harvard and Yale, which know that the overwhelming majority of students who are accepted will eagerly accept their offers.</p>
