My first class tomorrow is a discussion but I haven't gotten an email saying it's canceled. Do I still go or do I not attend?

you should definitely go

Im in the same boat… since I commute I guess I get to deal with about 2 hours of traffic to go to a philosophy discussion which is probably going to get canceled ;(

Email the professor to be sure.

Don’t go to a discussion the first day. They are almost always cancelled (either officially, or unofficially when the TA just doesn’t show up), and no one (except the first-years lol) shows up.

The professor just emailed everyone saying there will be discussion thursday and there will be an assignment. So, probably not the best idea to just blindly not show, but what do I know, this is my first year after transferring from a CC…

teacher just emailed me now saying “no sections will meet this week”

so no discussion…keep checkin ur email

First week discussions are waste of time in my experience. One time I went to one at 8am. The TA just walked in and said discussion is canceled… =/

I went to my Math 31b discussion yesterday and the TA didn’t cancel it. It was still kinda pointless though…we did introductions and a couple review problems. Nothing major if you didn’t show up.

Anyone know if we will me meeting in section tomorrow for Arts&Architecture 10?
