Anyone have any experience with First Class Notes? I missed a class last week and the notes are REALLY important.. my teacher said that they have good notes. How much do they usually cost? If it's ridiculous I'll just have to find someone in class with good notes, but if they are worth checking out let me know!

Thanks!

I suggest to you to **avoid **anything that involves you having to pay for notes. Do NOT do it!

First: There is this site called Study Blue.com. You have to register and add your school, and the specific class that you are in. It is a site where students upload notes. You don’t have to pay for anything. Check to see if any of your classmates uploaded lecture notes.

Second, and perhaps the best solution (which you have mentioned): Ask your fellow classmates for notes. I’m sure there is someone kind enough to let you borrow their notes to copy or even be willing to email you their notes. I have done it for people. People have done it for me. Just be generous and thank them.

Or, if you are desperate, go to your teacher’s office hours and see if he/her could give you notes (be cautious: some teachers won’t be willing to let you see their notes)

Wow, I’m surprised a professor would recommend outside sources for notes. Yea, just ask your classmates! How are you doing in your classes? I’m loving RU so far! Even the buses are kinda fun lol

Thanks mushaboom! I figured I’d ask since my teacher mentioned it, “good” notes are important because his tests are very detailed and most people in my class play on facebook the entire time. I’ll definitely check out that site though, I hadn’t heard of that one!

Magent - I know! I thought it was strange too, and he talked about how upset that he was that they make money off of his material haha (he’s a huge jokester), but that they were quality notes.

I’m doing great so far and I really love it! I honestly don’t mind the buses either, except catching anything at the grease trucks because there are always a million people pushing their way onto the bus, that’s just not fun. haha How are you doing?

TTK, I know what you are talking about! lol That bus stop is so crowded but I usually just try to guess where the bus stops and line it up right to the front or back door.

I’m doing well in my classes. How are you doing with the transfer students class? I still need to attend 5 events on my passport~!

At least you guys can tolerate the buses =) I’m a second year now and I’m more annoyed with the buses than I was last year -_-

Scott Hall is definitely one of the worst stops, especially after a lecture class gets out or anywhere between 1:10 and 4:10. When they used to have the old EE stop last year across the street by Scott Hall, I used to take the bus back to Brower, cross the street and catch the [H, LX, L, etc] bus there since it was usually not as crowded.

I’m fine with the buses if I get to sit… I’m just too short to be standing… I can’t reach over people to hold onto anything so I fall all over the place. hahaa

If it was still like that I’d probably do that too! haha I can’t stand being crushed by all the people pushing to get on the bus. It doesn’t help that I have two classes in Scott Hall :-|
