<p>What does everyone think we need to bring?</p>

<p>Beats me man, but probably notebook, calculator if applicable, something to write with, and required books.</p>

<p>No...usually the first day is just going over the syllabus and course requirements... You can bring books if you want, but you will most likely not need them...</p>

<p>spiral notebook, pen, and something to collect misc papers and handouts you pick up.</p>

<p>Some professors don't do anything but discuss the syllabus, schedule, policies, etc the first lecture. Others hand out the syllabus, review it for 5 minutes, then launch into the material full throttle (so don't assume nothing will be covered)</p>
