the first day of class is september 17th and the freshmen don't move in until september 8th. so, it is possible that this kid is going to harvard. we just start super late

Freshman students associated with FUP/FOP/Dorm crew moved in. Rest of the students checking time is September 8th. Classes stare 17th.

Yup- you're not even allowed to move in until this Saturday. (I'm itching to move back already- I like it there).

If you want to see if he's telling the truth, I guess you could look him up on Facebook. Or ask what house he's in.

New transfer students move in one day ahead, the 7th...

Indeed, I have a roommate that's just transferred here.

The earliest move-in day (other than those doing FUP/FAP//FOP, Dorm Crew, etc.) is September 7th, and that's only for transfer students and upperclassmen that have special permission. For example, I am moving in on Friday because I'm in the band and have to be on campus for freshman move-in gigs.

Admiral, do treat him nicely. (speaking as a former transfer student...) hehe

Admiral-No house assignment till the end of frosh year ;-)

Chris–I'm actually moving in today Peer advisers get ultra-special privileges.

Hey justforgetme: I meant freshman houses (I was in Lionel). Peer advisor? Cool.

wow, that is one lonnnng orientation

Hey smv,

Freshman orientation is basically a week of free time with four or five mandatory events. (It's pretty much a continuation of summer, just in a dorm room).

justforgetme, I saw you today! I'll probably see you tomorrow too. :P
