<p>What other schools start as late a UChi?</p>
<p>Stanford and Northwestern, for two (although they may start five or six days earlier). Their freshman orientations start at about the same time, though. Chicago's is too long.</p>

<p>First day for next year is Sept. 29, IIRC.</p>
<p>Ohio State starts on the 24th of September. Mostly schools that are on quarters will start in September.</p>
