I did thanks.

I had my first class at 12:20 (:D), which was Human Origins (ANTH-A105) and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be that hard of a class. Then I ate at the imu and went to intro to psych and my professor, being the Scotsman that he is, showed us some of Braveheart (sections that apparently relate to psych, but you could the argument that everything does).

But tomorrow holds much harder classes: X104 and M118. (I’m taking A100 2nd 8 weeks)

DD reports she had a good day and loves her chem lab teacher. DD mentioned to her that she might major in biochemistry and the teacher stayed after class to talk to DD about the major, intern opportunities, classes she should take, etc.

Then DD’s roomie decided she wanted some fish so they took the bus to Petco and got a tank, some supplies, and a few fish!!

All in all, a great day!

^^^I’ve been very impressed by the number of profs at IU that are willing to make these kind of personal connections with their students. When you think of big schools, you often think that students will be treated like numbers, but my son’s experience has been just the opposite.
