<p>There usually isn’t much covered on the first day besides the syllabus and an overview of the course, so a paper notebook and pen should do you fine.</p>
<p>Another obvious sign that you’re a freshman is if you walk around holding a campus map. But if you really need it, then just bust it out. No one is going to care.</p>
