<p>To all you first year parents and students:
It's always fun to read about your experiences as you first join the community. Post them! I promise to post my "last days" as a Williams parent experience during the week after graduation for the class of '07. My last fall foliage weekend as a W parent is coming up. Sad, but true.</p>

<p>Just back from dropping off D2 at Williams. Very sad but I feel that Williams is a good place for her. It was my second visit to campus and H's first.<br>
Observations:
What a nice surprise to find that all of the common rooms in Sage and Williams were given new furniture.
Not such a nice surprise to find D sharing a bathroom with 3 boys.
Move in very easy, even in rain, with everyone very helpful. (Tip: the carpentry shop will cut grooves into those round bed lifts so that they can be used with beds that don't have legs.)
Nice to have Morty stop by and welcome kids as they moved in.
What were they thinking when the approved the design for Mission?
Met a lot of legacies; we talked to parents dropping off their second or third child at Williams.
Looking forward to parents' weekend (maybe one visit before then?)</p>
