<p>Ok, so my father went to high school and graduated but did not attend any college. My mother went to one year of college before having me and leaving but never graduating. Am I considered a first generation college kid? Btw neither set of my grandparents went either ( not sure if that has any relevancy)</p>

<p>Yes, you are. However, on the common app section that asks about your parent’s education, you should note “some college” for your mother, as well as the CEEB code for the college she attended (if one exists).</p>
