I'm just curious where I can go. Some schools that I have interest are;
Boston college
Binghamton
William and Mary
U of Wisconsin-Madison
Columbia (dream)
UC Berkeley
U of Delaware
I want to go ivy but I don't think my grades are up to par. Any suggestions would help

To add, I come from a very Jewish highschool. Being a Mexican I am some what sort of looked upon as lower in this community because I don't have the money like they do. I'm just wondering if I should write my college essay on the racism I faced and how it led me to prove people wrong.

This might be unorganized a bit. I was doing this on a phone sorry.

Columbia: High reach (aim for 32+/2150+ for reachability)
Boston College: High match
Binghamton: Low match/Match
W&M: High match
UWI: Match
Berkeley: Reach (high match if you can pay full-freight)
UDel: Safety

I don’t know what this means but I do actually have duel citizenship, but does that have any effect? Also what are chance of UVA?

UVA: High match

Columbia: out of reach (unless you get a much higher SAT/ACT score)
Berkeley: high reach
BC: low reach
W&M: low reach
Wisconsin: high match
Binghamton: high match
UDel: safety

Good luck! :)

If you need financial aid, cross out W&M, Berkeley, and Wisconsin since they don’t offeR FA to out of state students.
Binghamton (and other SUNYs) = safeties, apply to Geneseo also.
What do you want to study?
Some schools try to recruit first generation students and Hispanics, so if you could retake that ACT and score a 30 you’d have a shot at a LOT more luck with the top LACs and universities.
You can apply to Columbia since it’s your dream school and why not add another TOP 20 national university if you want to, keeping in mind your odds are about 1 in 10, so 9/10 you won’t get in and you need to have various levels of schools between the SUNYs (safeties) and super reach schools like Columbia.
To increase your odds of admission at a prestigious school with good financial aid, though, you should apply 500+ miles from home. I’d suggest Emory, Washington University in St Louis, Wake Forest plus schools such as Grinnell (reach), Carleton (reach), Davidson (reach), Macalester, U of Richmond, Kenyon, or Whitman.
(Duke, Vanderbilt, Carleton, Davidson… are reaches like Columbia but you may get a boost from being both first gen and Latino plus being from far away… even if your state isn’t underreprewsented so you should investigate which schools admitted the fewest students from NY.) Send in “request information” and see what they reply.
The fact you’ve been a student athlete in Lacrosse could help at places where Lacrosse is big (while it’s DIII and you wouldn’t get an athletic scholarship, it might help you get in): Dickinson, Tufts, Middlebury, Wesleyan, Connecticut College, Bowdoin.

Thank you, I need to look around. I love UVA and BC but I also like Binghamton
