<p>First Generation - Neither parent got a high school degree
Low income
Immigrant
Vietnamese</p>

<p>Also, would the fact that I, blessed and lucky, am attending an extremely preppy private school with the combination of the above emphasize anything?</p>

<p>It’s a moderate boost at best. Will you look better than someone with similar stats/ECs of a more priviledged background? Yes, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be part of the X% accepted.</p>
