first generation to go to college?

just wondering…

both my parents are from a poor chinese family. my mom went to work at a bank after high school. my dad didn’t have the money to go to college. however, he went to england for several summers around ten years ago (my memory is kinda foggy on the time and date) and got a degree. we immigrated to US about 6 yrs ago.

would i still be consider the first generation to go to college?
