<p>So there are a couple of research internship opportunities I am interested in that my university is offering. I just started my third year of EE and for these research positions I need a letter of recommendation. I did not get to know many of my professors other than occasionally going to office hours for help and I've never had any research positions before. Is it appropriate to have my second year circuits lab TA write a letter of recommendation? He was a graduate student last year and has gotten his graduate degree and moved on from the university.</p>

<p>get a professor that you got an A in, and was recent. that’s your only option. TA’s usually don’t count.</p>
