I just received my first marking period grades and they are pretty good...three "B's" and everything else "A's" on a very strange and hard grading scale (94-100 A; 86-93 B...and a few other tweeks here and there when determining +/-). I want to send in my report card, but I've been late to school many times (which I have explained in the application...it's a good reason). Therefore, I miss first period quite often, so the teacher simply marks me absent. On the report card, it says that I have been absent TEN times from that class (which is not true, I've only missed that class about four times). Should I still send the report card or just not even bother? (It's ironic because I received an "A" in that class, so it's not like I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just not sure seeing so many absences will work in my favor...)

My report card doesn’t show the number of absences. Maybe you can try to ask your counselor to send a transcript that shows only your grades?
