I am still waiting for transfer application to be released for fall 2014. I guess the essays questions would pretty much different from freshman’s?

@MIT Chris, I love how you resurrected this thread!

I guess I’ll go first, I want to write about cooking, but I don’t really know how yet!

(it wasn’t me)

Its wasnt MITChris, it was MaybeOnMars. But… now thats it been resurrected. I was thinking of either gym or basketball, maybe both

Yes, Im a fitness freak :D

I’m thinking of writing either about afternoons spent with friends (water-balloon fights, baking muffins), writing, or listening to music. whad’dya think?

I wrote about telling stories in my first one (and inserted a story just for fun). And for the second one im deciding between course 20 (biological/biomedical engineering) and course 10B (chemical-biological engineering)

First one I wrote about how I use my drawing skill to have fun and create silly stuff :)

Gonna revive this thread -

What happens when there’s too much to write about or choose from? As in, there are so many things I do for fun and so little words convey it all in; and if I were to write about only one thing, I’m at a loss for what to choose

It doesn’t really matter. You can write about more than one thing or pick one. MIT just wants to get a good sense of what kind of person you are. Don’t try to guess what they are looking for. They aren’t looking for anything in particular. Just looking to have a fantastic class full of awesome people.

@rothstem thank you! and yeah I’m not trying to guess, it’s just that that question is hard for me under any circumstance, and even more so when there’s a word limit. each of my activities embodies part of me, so I hate to just choose one. given the word limit, I think I’m gonna just choose 2-3.
