<p>Ahh okay I'm a little worried, even though it's just my freshman year, because my grades last semester aren't that great, although they've imporved this semester. Last semester, I got 3 A's, 2 A-'s, 1 B+, and...a C+. This semester, I think i'm going to get all A's, 1 A-, and 1 B. Should I be worried, or just try harder next year? I want to know if I have a chance for a college like say...Duke/Vanderbilt/Yale? I'm taking an AP class this year probably at least one or two from now on. I'm in the honors advanced orchestra at my high school, and I am involved in a few school clubs.</p>
<p>Depends on your EC’s. If your EC’s are really strong, they may be good enough to make up for your C+ and get you into Yale. (Note: I don’t think - and + really matter).</p>
