First post :) How does the auditing process at Stanford work?

<p>Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while, but I'd like to jump in and start contributing!</p>

<p>But my first question is this: how does the auditing process work at Stanford? I've heard from people that this year Stanford is beginning to do application audits this year, but I haven't heard any details yet about how these audits will be conducted. Have the early kids already been audited? When will regular kids be audited? Does it occur after people get admitted and matriculate or is it beforehand? And before you all jump all over me and tell me to be honest etc., that's not why I'm asking this question. I do intend to be 100% honest with my applications. This is just something I was curious about.</p>

<p>i’m interested to see what the auditing process is. i think it’s a good idea if for no reason other than scaring people to tell the truth.</p>
