hopefully i get accepted soon

Hey, good luck!

WHAT'S UP UMICH 2011!!! (well, okay, I'm still waiting to hear from Cornell ED but there's no way I got in.)

i got in yesterday, im so excited to go next year

i got in on election day, and i talked to a good friend yesterday about his experiences! interesting to say the least...

is theer any way that we can specify that we want dry roomates?

what do you mean dry roommates? i wanna dorm blind, but i hope i dont get some weird kid as a roommate...

Do you mean "dry roommates" as in drug/alcohol-free? If so, I believe everyone fills out a preference sheet when you choose housing and that is one of the options. But I also hear that since it's such a large university, many requests are overlooked or ignored because they can't comply with everyone.

P.S. Update: I was deferred from Cornell, and I'm glad because now UMich is an option! But the new dilemma is should I wait for their final decision or just go for UMich? Ahh, decisions, decisions.

Looks like I'll be coming to UMich next year too!

Well, unless I somehow get into WashU with mostly scholarships/grants...which won't happen :P

ahh, I'm so glad I found this place! I got my acceptance letter 2 days ago and am ridiculously happy about it. I love the school with a passion. I was just deferred by the University of Chicago and I really don't want to wait until spring to know where I'm going so I'm thinking U of M is definitely it for me. It feels so good to know... I'd love to meet fellow future students. Where are you all from? My name's Kristi and I'm from Houghton (in the U.P.)

What's up guys?
ahah, i'm just moving over to the UMich board from the NYU board since I got rejected. It's alright, UMich is a better school anyways, and I'm kind of glad that NYU rejected me at this point.

Yeah~ Go Wolverines B-) Class of 2011!

ah yes, I was going to apply to NYU but I didn't want to screw around with SAT subject tests and frankly the idea of moving from my little hick town to the big apple right away intimidates the hell out of me so... maybe for grad school. UM is certainly more asthetically pleasing.

^

ahahah, yeah...basically, i didn't know they were requiring subject tests this year and submitted them too late. and i reckon i was a little too poor for the school, too, although UMich out of state is certainly not much cheaper.

well well, hope to see you soon =D

I would have applied to NYU if my parents freakinnn let me. It's too expensive. But UMich is expensive for OOS too, so, I don't know. It's a better school anyway, and I don't think I'd want to be less than an hour away from home.

hey guys. my name is carl . i will be attending u of m on a track scholarship. i am from sb, indiana. home of the notre dame irish. yeah i know.. how could i. but i love michigan now. i'm really content that i finally made my choice.

hey guys! anyone here from around new york? upstate specifically?
