I did not send any senior year grades to Columbia because my school does semester grades, not quarter grades. Should I have sent something? What should I do?? Is this going to affect my application?

My school only records semester grades on our transcripts as well, so my first quarter grades weren’t sent in either. It won’t at all affect your application, unless the admissions office specifically called in to your guidance counselor to ask for your first quarter grades, but my understanding is that Columbia generally doesn’t do that. Both my counselor and the Columbia’s admissions office have told me that the lack of senior year grades won’t really matter, since Columbia understands that lots of schools don’t report those and work on a different academic system.
Tl;dr–don’t worry! :)

You could always call Columbia’s Admissions Office to get some advice. They’ve been pretty helpful to me.
But I think your fine, as naoman16 said above, since your school only does semester grades.

@naoman16 @ilovethecity thank you both so much! I was really stressing!! Now I can breathe a little… All I can do is wait for my decision #:-S
