hey people, our school still hasnt sent out our grades but i pretty much know what im going to get. It wasn't as good as i should have done (english).

Here is what they are

Honors Algebra 2 - A
Honors Chemistry - A
Honors Spanish 3 - A
Honors Civics - A/A- (most probably an A but i really dont know for sure)
Honors English - B+
Computer Programming - A
PE - A

APUSH = B+/A-
APCOMPLANG = B+/A-/A (something like that; i'm not quite sure...)
PHYSICS = Indep Study (B) <--- C+ (I've been behind and am managing to scramble back. It'll be an A by the time the semester ends. It's during a teacher's class but since I've been behind... well yeah.)
Spanish 3 = A/A+

CC BIO = A/A- (the quarter ends in December, but it should be around here)
CC PRECALC/TRIG = A (quarter ends in December, but it should be this)

Yeah, so I've been scrambling a bit with my AP classes but I imagine that they'll rise.

Choir-A
Health-A
Geometry-B
Honors English-A
Biology-B
Japanese-A+ at least, I'm getting a 99%!
Well, it's only freshmen year! But k0w, how many classes are you taking???????? 12????? That's insane! How does that work?
History-A

AP Physics C- A-
AP Human Geography- A
AP Music Theory- A-
Multivariable Calculus- A
HS Orchestra- A
Number Theory- A
Science Fiction Literature- A-/B+ (Not sure as of this moment)
Latin VI- Credit

how do you guys get so many A's? Is there grade inflation in your school? At my school getting an A in Physics C or calculus is near impossible.

Same, I wonder if they are weighting in that case i have all A's too. We dont have quarters but my grades unweighted are

AP Lang - B +
AP US - B
AP Biology - B
Honors Spanish 4 - A
Trig/Pre calc - A+
AP European - A
AP Human Geo self study - A++++(lol jk dont have a teacher for this)

No im totally screwed, just found out that im going to get like a B in honors civics. I dont know how im getting it. But im doing an extra credit project that will prob bring it up to a B+. I can't believe that this is happening. On the other hand i just found out that my math average was above a 100%.

GPA: 5.0!!! (taking all weighted classes and have straight A's)

... I am .002(cum.) from the #1 spot at our school---- oh, you can't even imagine how I envy her!

AP Calc AB A (we don't have +/-)
AP Lit A (one of three in a class of thirty.... grade inflation? I don't think so)
AP European A (again one of five but everyone else in the class must just not try because it is an EASY class)
AP Studio Art A (barely... I try, but let's face it- I'm not as artistically gifted as some others so I have to work twice as hard to get the same result as others)

I've gotten straight A's except for a chem class and a semester in trig (which is stupid since I got a 97% on the final and the teacher was bitter that I went on vacation so much and missed her class...)

I also have A's in my college classes but they're in the low 90's.

To those questioning how so many kids get all A's, you have to realize that the kids here are the top of each of their schools. Doesn't every school have a few kids that get straight A's??? Those few all congregate here and it looks like the norm.

IBMYP English II - A
IBMYP Spanish III - A
IBMYP Civics&Econ - A
IBMYP Chemistry - A
Gym/Phi - A
IB Math Methods I - A
AP Physics B - B (86 :-)
AP Computer Science A - B (90.4)

had straight A's since fourth grade till takin these AP courses

rank: 2/200 some
and the number one person is only ahead by .06
i can do it if i get straight a's number one hehe
sigh so close

Sorry for "gloating" but gloating or not, I am extremely happy with myself. Just like everyone else, I work for my grades and when I see my efforts on paper I am proud.

I'm definitely not proud of my SAT/ACT scores and don't brag about those like countless other posters.

For anyone who wants to brag about whatever, I say go ahead- it doesn't hurt anyone- for the most part I would be happy for the kids who do well and wouldn't complain about them.
