First semester bio during second semester?

Hi all.

I'll be a first-year, so I decided that taking Chem and bio at the same time during the first semester probably would be too taxing on me. Is it possible for me to take BIOL2010 (first semester bio) during my second semester?

If not, I'll take Biol 3000. How much more in depth is this bio vs. normal bio?

according to [UVa Class Schedule - Schedule of Classes for Biology - Spring 2010 (Unofficial, Lou’s List)](http://rabi.phys.virginia.edu/mySIS/CS2/page.php?Semester=1102&Type=Group&Group=Biology) you cannot take 2010 since it is not offered.

Don’t know about 3000 though.

I think the prereq. for Bio 3000 is Bio 2010. Not so sure about Bio 2020.

I know, I already placed out of BIOL2010 & 2020. I wanted to retake those courses, but I guess I will have to use them now.

No, UVA sequences the intro sciences like Chemistry, Biology and Physics such that the blah blah blah 1 is in the fall and blah blah blah 2 is in the spring. Another option is summer school for 1 and 2.
