first semester freshman courses

<p>Hi, I'm a bio major and I'd like some feedback on the courses i'll be taking in the fall. Currently, i'm registered for:</p>

BSCI207
CHEM231
CHEM232
JOUR289I
UNIV100</p>

<p>I think this is 16 credits total, and I have AP credit for all the prerequisites for those courses and for engl101. Does this schedule seem like too heavy of a courseload for my first semester?</p>

<p>If calc wasn’t a struggle for you in hs and if writing papers comes easy and/or is a release for you then you should be ok. Ochem is going to eat most of your time (10-15 hours per week).</p>
