<p>My college guidance advisor sent my quarterly grades to Michigan, and they are all As and A-s and i have 3 APs and an Honors course, for a total of 6 major courses. How important are these grades in regards to the admissions process, I am hoping they can push me forward as a more competitive candidate. I come from a very well known and competitive private school in NJ, but I live in NY. Thanks!</p>
<p>It certainly can't hurt. Michigan will look at your midyear report if they have not yet decided. Make sure to call the office of undergraduate admissions at Michigan and let them know that your first quarter's grades were just sent so that they don't miss them.</p>
