First semester senior grades?

Will GT still allow you to send those in if you get deferred? Also, with their changes in how they calculate GPA, is there really any way to know what a good/bad GPA is now? For example, in one semester for junior year I had three "natural" B's, but they were changed to A's based on my school's weighting system. Will GT just look at those as B's or A's? Ironically, because my school's weighting system is different from GT's old one, my GPA dropped. Will that hurt my chances since I still technically had the same grades?

I think they are just going on what the school reports. So if the transcript says you got an A then you got a A…

For example in my son’s school the transcript might say he got an 98 in an AP class but really he got a 93 and they added 5 points on for it being an AP class which gave him a 98. If you are in state I would just look at your hope GPA.

Is there a way students can find out what they’re GPA was on the buzzport account

Hope GPA’s can be vastly different than your school transcript GPA and GT GPA. All weighting is taken off Hope GPA with weights added back in for AP’s only and only if the grade is a B or below. Hope will give 3.5 points for a B, but not 4.5 points for an A.
