First Semester Senior Grades

I have a 34 on my ACT and a 3.9 GPA.
Since 9th grade, I have conducted research at two different universities in biomedical engineering and have been published twice. That is the strongest part of my application.
I applied to Tulane and Columbia early action and early decision, respectively. I got accepted into Tulane with a 32,000 scholarship and deferred from Columbia.
This semester I have 2 Bs, but since 9th grade I have had all As except for one B in Human Geography AP in 9th grade.

Will my Bs heavily affect my chances to get into the ivy leagues? Columbia mentioned that they will pay attention to these grades and I am worried that the one week of midterms that lowered my grades can affect all of my college admission decisions.

It is too late for me to apply to other colleges and I fear that I will not be able to get into the colleges I have already applied to, like Northwestern, Emory, UPenn, etc.

Why not apply to other colleges that have rolling admissions? some have RDII

Columbia will pay attention to your 2 Bs this semester, but I cannot accurately predict whether or not this will hurt your admissions chances. Honestly, don’t worry about it — what is done is done. Just enjoy the rest of your senior year… a few Bs will certainly not kill your application.

And yes, there are many good colleges with rolling admissions that you should check out.
