<p>they have poker on ESPN because people will watch it and it'll boost ratings and it'll make money. with money and expanded viewership, staying a pure sports channel is the least of ESPN's worries</p>
<p>to add to deus's post....they put it on espn because there is nothing else to show during the day. ESPN has three main filler shows.....world series of poker, sportscenter, and now TILT. although poker can be exciting, i still wouldnt consider it a sport.</p>
<p>tough one. i would save the majority of it and take a trip to Africa or Asia.</p>
<p>They put cheerleading on ESPN- i think thats more of a sport then poker and spelling bees for sure.</p>

<p>so much stuff to buy....i would buy a house, a mercedes, a new wardrobe, and the new york yankees.</p>
<p>Take a few trips out of the country then invest. Nothing really to much, I don't have that desire to be the guy with the big house, with the 10 cars. Yes I would like to have a lot of money, but at the same time save it, and not have to worry about anything financially.</p>

<p>Well, there is this house on a beautiful cliff overlooking the Pacific that I've been eying for a while. It's about $13 million or so. :)</p>

<p>I love the spelling bees on ESPN! They're definitely more riveting than any real sporting event on tv. Live games are different. I still wouldn't consider spelling a sport though. </p>
<p>Did anyone see Spellbound, and notice that when they asked one girl what she liked to do in her free time besides study spelling, she answered, "I like to drink coffee and I'm a vegetarian." EATING AND DRINKING ARE NOT EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES! Sorry, that just really bugged me.</p>

<p>The very first thing I would do is buy a house for my parents and make sure they have everything they need and never have to work again, I know its cliched but thats what I would do. Then I would go and buy Manchester United, the worlds richest sports team. Oh and if football is not a sport than what is?</p>
