First time 740...retake?

I am a senior looking to take a subject test in October (then I'll be done with SATs forever! woohoo!). So far, I've gotten an 800 in Korean, 750 on mathII, and a 740 in literature. Literature is my favorite subject but I ended up not studying for the test because it was around finals time. If I study for a month, can I get an 800 in lit? Or should I take something else like history or a science?

A little background: I'm looking to major in political science at a competitive university, and I'm stronger in the humanities. (3.85 weighted gpa, 2280 SAT)

Thanks in advance!

retake it if its your favorite subject. Take whatever you really love to study for. Also, consider the fact that you’ve taken the Lit test already so you already know what its like. Its probably easier to get that 800 if you take Lit. Also, everyone knows that Lit is very hard so it’ll probably weigh more than any other subject test.

by the way 800 on korean doesn’t count lol.

yea you probably want to retake those if you want to go to a top school which pretty much requires 800s these days.

if you’re rejected from a top school, your 740 will not be the reason
