First time international student

<p>Can someone please tell me what kind of a decision i should be expecting come april so i can emotionally prepare myself? personally, i have no idea....</p>

GPA: Top%1 academic ranking (96.4% average out of 100%)</p>

**the only thing is that i got and sent these scores in feb. i called the yale admission office and they say that the scores will be considered. do you think i'm at a disadvantage cuz my scores are sent in jan?</p>

read counsellor's letter. very good. top 1% for every category.</p>

<p>Don’t insult your own intelligence by asking for chances. You already know that your chances are as good as they get. If there’s nothing in your profile that might wreck your chances (discipline issues, suspension etc.) then you have a strong chance of being admitted.</p>

<p>Anyway, if your intent is to emotionally prepare yourself as you mentioned, it’s a good idea not to have any expected outcome in mind. Overconfidence can leave you feeling devastated in the event of a rejection, as unlikely as that prospect might seem.</p>
