first time international!!

<p>Can someone please tell me what kind of a decision i should be expecting come april so i can emotionally prepare myself? personally, i have no idea....</p>

**the only thing is that i got and sent these scores in feb. i called the hopkins admission office and they say that the scores will be considered. do you think i'm at a disadvantage cuz my scores are sent in jan?</p>

<p>well, if you dont get in, you could probably blame some combo of lors, essays/demonstration of “fit,” or maybe simply picking the wrong year to apply (they are expecting a 17-18% admit rate- which would shatter the previous record of ~24, and last year they over-enrolled by 100).</p>

<p>imo on paper you are a very competitive applicant - certainly in the top 1/2 of applicants *admitted<a href=“stats-wise”>/I</a>…but hopkins is highly selective (i.e. gets lots of stellar applications) so it will likely come down to fit, essays, lors etc…you probably already knew that so just take solace in knowing your stats wont hold you back (and if they said they’d consider your scores, don’t fret, you wont be at a disadvantage).</p>
