first time international!!

<p>Can someone please tell me what kind of a decision i should be expecting come april so i can emotionally prepare myself? personally, i have no idea....</p>

GPA: Top%1 academic ranking (96.4% average out of 100%)</p>

<p>Major Courses:
english IB HL
history IB HL
French IB
Physics IB HL
Math IB
Chem IB
Biology IB HL

<p>SAT:

writing 800
total 2310
**the only thing is that i got and sent these scores in feb. </p>

<p>800 on sat math level 2
790 on chem sat</p>

<p>Major ecs:
Skin cancer researcher at local university
national gold medal for medical research at canada wide science fair
intel science fair participant in may 2010
numerous local science and technology fair awards
Vice president of community league with 500 members
Varsity basketball team
local hospital volunteering
mentoring/coaching junior students competing in science competition
Top 10 ranking in city-wide math contest
school clubs</p>

<p>Letters:
read counsellor's letter. very good. top 1% for every category.</p>

<p>like i said, i got my 2310 in jan...and sent them in feb. is this too late to be considered?? ANYONE?ANYONE?

I’d give you a top chance, had it not been for the fact that you’ve posted this in like ALL the college forums. With those stats, it really takes a good degree of self doubt and mental weakness to do that <_<
I’m hoping your essays were good, coz thats the only thing that will decide your admission after those stats. Goodluck!</p>

its hard to be all cocky and overconfident (like some cc members) when there has never even been a stanford admittee from ur region for like 10 years…</p>

<p>did you send any SAT scores before the ones you listed as sent in february? and were these sent in early/mid/late february?</p>

<p>preliminary admission readings are likely nearing their end right now. they spend a long time in committee sessions for RD applicants to make sure they have a balanced class.</p>

<p>yeah, collegeboard sent the scores on feb 9. hope thats early enough!</p>
