I applied early to Yale, submitted my application yesterday. I've sent in my common app material, supplements, transcript, SAT scores, and teacher recommendations. Am i required to send out financial aid forms as well!?!?! If so, which ones..?? Please help me, I'm really stressing out about this. :(

you should be able to find all info you need on the Yale website and here
http://www.yale.edu/sfas/financial/earlyactionclassof2012.htm

wait, the financial stuff was due too?! i thought it was due in january..

No, if you're appying early then the financial stuff is due Nov. 1 and I believe Yale requires your parent's 2006 tax returns to be received by Nov.1, not postmarked that date.

Too bad! You should have got on CC sooner. This site is amazing!!!

So if we applied early and didn't send financial info already, we're out on fin. aid? Really???

wait my parents don't use tax returns...its exempt....was i suppose to send documentation..its only said for international..so i thought no!

Is it acceptabe if a few forms get sent in like two days late?????

i don't kknow...dude just call on monday... for a sure, correct answer

Just to calm your nerves:

If you missed your fin aid deadline, you should get the forms in right away, but you are not going to crush your chances at fin aid (you will probably not even impact them), and the adcoms will not even know that your fin aid forms were late.

You should send them off asap, make it a priority, but do not panic. Colleges will be sorting through paperwork for days; they are not even making decisions yet. Send the forms Monday, express; call the school if you like; you will be fine.
