First Time Poster, Need Help

<p>I am a South Asian male from Texas who is thoroughly confused and stressed out about this whole college admissions process...I would like to attend a good school, but being the first in my family to go to college in America, the whole process is daunting to me.</p>

<p>Classes:</p>

<p>10 APs total (5's on World History, Eng Lang, and US History)
Four years of German
Rank: 1 of 530 (semi-competitive public HS)
GPA: 4.48 (unweighted)</p>

<p>EC:</p>

<p>2 yr Independent Study and Mentorship: only 30 students/yr are picked, have the opportunity to pick a career field and get real-life experience with professionals in that field...my topic is International Business and my mentors have included ppl from JCPenney, Metasolv (software), and AGEdwards</p>

<p>i'm applied to nyu stern ed, and working on the gtown one. interesting background - the whole bangladesh/japan/america thing. do you speak those languages? you should tell them if you are.</p>
