<h2>I've been reading a lot of these "what are my chances" posts here for a while, so I finally gave in and registered. I guess my curiosity and anxiety got the best of me!</h2>
<p>I'm a senior (white female from Vermont)</p>
<p>GPA: 3.828 (unweighted - we don't have weighted GPAs at my school)
Class Rank: Top 10%, class size 237
ACT: 32</p>
<p>AP: AP Calc AB, AP European History, AP Biology, AP French, AP English, and AP Studio Art</p>
<p>EC:
- Varsity Soccer (9-12): All-State 11th and 12th grade, team MVP 11th and 12th grade, top ranked Vermont defensive player 11th grade
- Church Youth Group (9-12): Week-long community service trips in 9th and 10th grade (ran a daycare for underprivileged children in a rural area and volunteered at homeless shelters in an urban area), participated in other community service activities all four years
- National Honor Society (president)
- Art: participated in a few state-wide competitions and won awards, went to a week-long program at Savannah College of Art and Design, attended the Maryland Institute College of Art's Pre-College Summer Residency Program (month-long program, earned 3 college credits in figure drawing/oil painting, photography, and art history - 4.0 GPA), <em>strong art portfolio</em>
- Music: piano since elementary school, guitar since 7th grade, helped to organize a coffeehouse at my high school (a place for musicians, poets, etc. to come and perform for an audience of students and teachers)</p>
<p>Chances? I applied/am applying to (regular decision):
- Vassar (my top choice)
- Oberlin
- Connecticut College
- Wesleyan (Middletown, CT)
- Bates
- Alfred University (for the arts)</p>
