First time SAT-taker... evaluation..

I took my first SAT in March as a junior in HS.

It went okay, I suppose. I mean, I took it without any preparation.
I got 510 Math, 530 CR, & 610 Writing (with 9/12 essay), which is 1650 total.

I know my Math & CR scores are ... just.. low. :/ I've always been bad at math. I bought the official SAT book recently, and am planning to use it thoroughly until June (when I plan to retake it).

Now my question is.. is it impossible to raise my score to an 1800 (with 1200 Math/CR) in judy two months? I've heard that with a prep book, you don't even get 100 more points.. and for a scholarship I'm seeking, I need a 1200 in CR & Math.

Any tips? I feel really upset about my score..

(And really, coming on here with all you brilliant people makes me feel worse, haha. I mean getting upset over 2200's? Wow! But it's cool.)

I think you absolutely can. The most important thing is to practice practice practice. Look at some of the tips here on CC. You can do it!

Thank-you!
I’m starting my practice tests this weekend and hope to do one every weekend…

Any tips for self-studying for the SAT?
