First two questions.

These are short answery right? So they shouldn't murderously long?

from the uncommon application blog (<a href="http://uncommonapplication.blogspot.com):%5B/url%5D">http://uncommonapplication.blogspot.com):</a></p>

Q: Both of my short responses for the application are about four to five paragraphs long, instead of two. I am trying my best to cut their lengths, but I feel that making them shorter would take much of their content and meanings away. Is it acceptable if the "short" answers are longer than suggested? Would it still be read?

A: YES to both questions.

One of the great features of Chicago's online application (or the paper application for that matter) is that we do not pre-set a word count, character length, or in any way limit your response to these questions. Four to five paragraphs...even more will be just fine.

Write what you need to say in response to our questions; and YES, every word will be read by the Admissions Staff.
