Hey, I just moved in today but didn't attend any classes.
I'm taking chem20a, cs31, cs seminar1, global studies1, arch studies1, did I miss much?

If you have Scerri for 20A, you didn't miss much. He just went over the syllabus and material from the first few pages of his course reader.

didnt attend classes!?!?!? youve just failed out of ucla

well, I could only arrive in the states yesterday morning, move in, pay bills, etc etc that's why there was not enough time... ^which math are you taking?

jiceo, don't worry about it. Chances are that your professors didn't cover much because it's 0 week.

mobilemayhem,

teachers= high school
professors = college

you dumbass

Fisico: first off, who the fu ck cares about word choice. Secondly, you seriously need a hobby bit ch. I'll let it slide this time because you are probably a south campus loner who only gets the chance to have human interaction by posting here. Real classy sh itface.

I wonder what will happen when you no longer let it slide. LOLOLOL

I don't have any of your classes, but we pretty much just went over the syllabus in all of my classes. I'm sure you didn't miss much.

Yeah, I've been messaging some of my classmates and they told me i didn't miss much.
Flying all the way from Brazil, moving in and unpacking everything, paying reg fees, bruin card, etc etc has not been exactly easy. Lol, I'm still pretty lost every time I try to find a building (I didn't attend any of the orientations).

it's okay, you'll figure it out soon!

I read that as "I've been mAssaging"... lol!

jiceo1, it takes some time to get used to finding all the buildings on campus for pretty much all of us. But flying in from a different country for college sounds pretty intense... hope you've started feeling at home here!

^^ lol, u r dyslexic =P
Yeah, it's pretty intense, all on my own for the 1st time. Though I've been 2 years in Taiwan... but that doesn't count since I was with family.
Got so many things to do, to buy, etc, it's quite overwhelming.

The first day of CS 31 for me, they went over the history of computing, so be glad you missed that.
CS 1 they probably just went over basics of the class so if the syllabus is online (courseweb?) you'll be fine. Also they might do a sign-in sheet, don't remember...

hey, I went to these two classes today, so everything's good now.
CS 1 and CS31 in terms of content were pretty much the same...

Yeah ... I was a freshman when I took that and I actually copied down what Smallberg said ... you probably don't have to.
