First Year Architecture + Intro Italian?

My friend is going to be a first year in the architecture program and is considering taking intro Italian. She was wondering if this would be manageable with the workload she would have from her architecture classes. Thoughts?

The curriculum posted on the course catalog for arch majors recommends two electives for first semester, so I don't see a problem with it. Besides, she can drop it very very easily.

she might have a hard time getting in to begin with!!! i remember i had to get on a waitlist for french...though i dont know if italian is just as popular...

i would recommend she take italian whenever she has fewer archie classes...

it's going to be tough but it's manageable. i took econ and psych my first semester..both pass fail
