I know this has question has been posed before, I would appreciate some advice. I am taking AP Biology this year and am doing well in the class. Unfortunately, my class will not be covering all of the material (we are unable to get to Evolution, Plants, and alot of the Organismal material (this is material that overlaps both semesters of the Intro Bio I believe)). Since I have been doing a lot of independent studying, I feel like I can get at least a 4 on the exam, but I don't know if it is worth going through the extra studying this year only to take both intro bio classes next year. What are some of your recommendations? Should I take the AP test (I am already registered but I can still withdraw my order for almost a full refund)? I am unsure of my major, but it looks like biology could be a possibility.
Thanks!

i got a 5 on bio and i'm still taking intro to bio, but i plan on being a bio major. I took it my jr. year too so i feel like i probably forgot some of it and i love bio so i won't mind taking it again and it'll be nice to have a class that should be familiar already for me.

If you ARE going to take intro in college, I'd say stay away from the exam.

Save yourself the money because if you've been admitted, you don't have to worry much. In the end, you forfeit the credit, it won't matter if you got a 4 or 5.

If you are planning to be a bio major and doing premed, you should really take intro bio over even if you have AP credits. Many top med schools highly recommend applicants to complete intro bio in college because of the lab.

thanks everybody
