prerequisites are meaningless. taking the analysis sequence in math will get you out of 2 electives and that 221 class.

hmm would taking SOSC...Math 199, Econ 200 AND a language be too much? I dunno, I feel like I can handle a TON of work...I had some crazy high school teachers. And I have a background in the language a bit...

Will they give u credits after they place you into more advanced sequences? For example, I've taken the British A level and got A for the exam, which will probably help me skip the introductionary econs course, will I earn credits for that?

Can anyone elaborate in detail the Readings in World Literature course? For HUM, I want to take either that or Philosophical Perspectives. I'm kind of leaning toward Readings in World Literature, because it seems to offer a greater range of lit, but I don't know that much about it.

Every class and every teacher assigns slightly different material. Information taken off of "most useful texts" section of course reserves.

Akx, start off with that. It's definitely possible, but you may not want to do it all. Some languages, especially in the 100s level, have many class hours a week.

Viva, currently the intro econ courses are not required for the major and do not count toward the major. They are purely electives. They are also recommended before further econ study even if you took it in high school.
