If I choose to take the CS class, can I pick which ENGR class I want to take in Spring? They have a few classes for the spring semester which interest me more, and I do want to take CS, so can i choose the Com S for fall and ENGR for spring?

And also, which one is most popular? Has anyone heard/know about Computing in the Arts?

I just don't want a tough as nails course the first semester.

Do you guys also recommend the Academic Excellence Workshops?

I don't think AEWs are really worth it unless you need a VERY structured environment to study outside of class.

I'm assuming your an engineer so you either have to take an ENGRI in the fall and CS in the spring or vice verse, it really doesn't matter which semester you take which class just as long as you take both during freshman year. I would reccommend taking ENGRI 127: Entrepreneurship and Engineering Enterprise. I found it interesting, Professor Callister is the man and it was a really easy class.

I got out of some courses with AP credit so ended up taking both ENGRI and CS100 first semester because I had nothing else that made sense to take at the time.
