<p>^I would put standardized testing #2 due to the short college record for soph transfers. I don’t think LORs are that big a help unless spectacular, which is often difficult for soph transfers; also they are highly subjective and so I think are rarely a significant factor. And I think essays come after an academic threshold (gpa, rigor of coursework & testing) is surmounted. I’m not putting down the importance of essays, I think they are what set you apart, but without an academic record that demonstrates that you are likely to succeed if accepted, an essay will not gain you admittance IMO.</p>
