First year schedule help/ Professor opinions?

I think (at this point at least) that I'd like to go the Econ investment banking route, so tell me if this sounds like a good first semester schedule..

First year seminar

Intro to Microecon (AP credit for Macro)

Spanish/ Chinese (whichever I decide on.. I could probably place into Intermed. Spanish)

Either International Politics, Politics and the Studies of Politics, TV & American Culture, or the other Spanish/Chinese

Does this seem alright?
Suggestions?

And for first year seminars, any information on the following professors so that I can make my decision would be greatly appreciated:

Jon Isham
Elizabeth Napier
Alexis Peri
Amy Morsman
William Poulin-Deltour

well, it seems pretty ok to me. I have some friends who had similar schedules, and they did just fine. I would avoid taking 2 languages a semester though.

Calc if you need it and it won’t be too hard…before all that math from HS drains away…Start Chinese if you ever want to learn it. It is a bb of a course, but you’ll be VERY desirable for business later on.
If you do Chinese, pick a 4th course that you think will be easy. If you do Spanish, maybe Int Politics.

Agree with OBD.

I’m in need of advice, as well. I’m thinking of a sociology-focused FYS, and am looking to take Arabic and French as two out of my three additional courses. For my final pick, I’m lost. What subject? I was thinking maybe Intro to Psych, some sort of religion class, or Art History…

@OBD

What are some of the easiest classes?
I’m awful at science…

Nothing is really easy, unless you are good at it. HOWEVER, some of the intro Arts classes can be a welcome change in terms of the left/right brain thing.
My S thought intro Architecture would be “easy” and had a hard time getting a B…
Have heard “The Creative Process” in Dance department is interesting and fun if you are willing to engage in something different. Not an easy A so much as difficult to get a C if you participate fully…
