first year schedule...

jw is this is doable or not (i have no idea)

physics 7a
math 1a
e7
e10
e 98 (1 unit decal, p/np)
mse 24 (1 unit freshman seminar thing)

so 17 units total...

I might drop e10, but idk... thoughts/comments?

you should probably drop either E7 or E10. Trust me, you have plenty of time to complete your engineering requirements. Your first semester should be reasonably chill (though not necessarily 13 units-chill if you’re worried about future telebears standing) to a) allow yourself to adjust to the pace of college-level courses and b) allow yourself to have some fun.

Physics 7A, especially if you’re taking it with Boggs, is harder than people give it credit for, though still pretty easy to get an A in if you actually make the effort to do the hw by yourself before going to office hours (most people just go to office hours w/o prior attempts to solve the hw and let the GSI work out the solutions in front of them, which hurts them tremendously come exam time). E7 is really really easy, but also really time-consuming depending on who your teacher is.

I recommend also that you drop your seminar; it’s not like you’re in dire need of units. And plus, wouldn’t you rather have some extra time on your hands instead of sitting in class?
