I am currently enrolled in 4 classes my 1st year of CC in CA. It’s 17 units so not too reasonably bad. I followed the IGETC Plan or Plan C for short, but I have some questions regarding my grades. For Transfer, I am required to have 3 English communication courses. I received in A in one of my English courses already which leaves me with two to go, but right now I am concerned with the grade I have now in my critical thinking class. How badly would this B hurt me, my other courses are fine, but its just this critical thinking class that gets me wound up. Its required for the IGETC Plan C, so I assume it is weighted heavily when transferring to a UC or CSU. My major is Business Administration. Finals are the only thing left in that class and right now it is at a solid B. This course is only 3 units and abysmal compared to my other math courses which are 5 units. This is my only B as of this moment but looking at the transfer gpa’s even the slightest bit can hurt you. Is this B alright?
