Fishing near UCLA

anyone know of any spots (lakes, rivers, reservoirs) near UCLA (besides the ocean)? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hef’s grotto??? (Consider that answer as a way of bumping your post:))

Thanx jshain…that was actually quite funny. But im trying to.catch fish not an sti

Yeah, you’re probably right. I wouldn’t dip my pole in there either. On a more serious note, try Stone Canyon Reservoir.

golden i was actually being literal. Not metaphorical.im from norcal and dont knowbof many nearby fishing spots. In regards to whoever posted stone canyon thank u. But im not sure if its fishable. I know several of the reservoirs near ucla are not because they are used for drinkkng water :(

^I suggested it and I do believe Stone Canyon Reservoir IS fishable.

You might call a local bait & tackle shop to see what they recommend that’s nearby

You may want to check put the Los Angeles National Forest (but it is more of a day trip) If you have the weekend how about Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead?
I know people fish along the marina by the Cal Yacht Club in Marina del Ray- When I was a kid I once got a line wrapped around my neck when I took my sabot too close to the rocks
