<p>Hey, in the new guide, USC has an academic ranking of 3.5/5, tied with schools such as UC-Riverside and losing to all other UC's. I do not understand how this is possible, considering USNWR ranks USC way higher, as well as the mid-50 SAT and ACT scores are wayyyy above most UC schools. Does Fiske have something against USC? It says it does not include student:teacher ratio, which hurts USC ( and honestly isnt fair because that is a very important statistic). Why is USC ranked so low? I know to take rankings with a grain of salt just curious. Thanks.</p>

<p>yea i agree with US News rankings, as seems the vast majority of people. It just seems weird that Fiske is so off…</p>
<p>There are tons of completely subjective ranking systems that are made to benefit certain institutions over others.</p>
